Jeffrey Maxwell Reader, 61, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017.

He was born in Spokane Washington to Arthur and Pat Reader.

Jeffrey served his country for ten years in the Air Force as well as ten more years in the National Guard. During his time he received numerous awards and medals.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Reader; and daughter, Abbie Middleton.

He is Survived by wife, Nelta Reader; son, Justin Reader; Daughters, Katie (Daniel) Hagaman and Marta (John) Church; mother, Pat Reader; siblings, Janet (John) Saari, Debbie (Elliott Furst) Reader, and Michael Reader; ex-wife, Karen Reader; grandchildren, Jackson, Joseph, and Alexandria Hagaman, Maggie Middleton, Skyler Crye, and Claire Church; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the America Cancer Society or charity of your choice.

There will be a service held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.
